About gever
gever is a telemedicine service operating in Israel, built so that men can get a proper medical assessment for hair loss without waiting for an appointment or giving up their privacy. It starts with a structured medical questionnaire, a physician licensed in Israel reviews it, and where treatment is clinically appropriate a prescription is issued and dispensed discreetly.

How we write medical content
The content on this site is not marketing copy. It is written to answer the questions men ask before they speak to a doctor, and we hold it to the following standard:
- Every clinical claim is sourced — peer-reviewed literature, clinical guidelines, or the Israeli Ministry of Health–approved patient leaflet.
- Every article is reviewed by a physician licensed in Israel, and carries their name, licence number and review date.
- We publish a last-reviewed date on every article and revisit articles when the evidence changes.
- Hebrew and English content is written separately for each audience. We do not machine-translate.
- We do not publish patient testimonials about prescription medicines, and we do not run promotional content for prescription medicines. That is a legal requirement in Israel, and we think it is also simply better medical writing.
What this service is not
gever is not a substitute for emergency care and does not replace follow-up with your family physician. Hair loss can also stem from other medical conditions, so the assessment includes questions designed to identify cases that need further investigation. Where something like that comes up, we refer you on rather than issue a prescription.
